In this sequence, IMGN highlights their work from this year with a playful tapestry of publication, moving image and grading work. With a free form experimental brief, the music plays around with the vivid colours from the image using only the best chords in town, mixing a blend of modal synthesis, cello harmonics and free drums. The sound flickers through the images, blending acoustic, found sound and electronics to seamlessly match the rich environment created with the visuals. Each component in the timeline is carefully sculpted and placed with precision, but the feel remains free.
